The Surefoot Colorado Ski Cup tour made it's stop at Eldora Ski Area with giant slalom and slalom racing for the men and women, and Ski & Snowboard Club Vail's ability class women made their presence known on the podium.
The action started on Saturday with the giant slalom, and after two runs down the track, the top four spots were within .22 seconds of each other, and Ski Club Vail's women occupied three of those four places.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon Monday mourned the death of Takahisa Kawakami, deputy special representative of the UN Intergrated Mission in Timor- Leste (UNMIT), who passed away overnight of natural causes in his residence in the country.
In a statement issued via his spokesperson, Ban said he announced the death of Kawakami "with deep sorrow."

Ohio State, coming off its sixth consecutive Big Ten title, drew a No. 2 seed and will play 15th-seeded St. Francis, Pa., on Sunday in the opening round of the NCAA women's basketball tournament.
